The air is cooler, the leaves are falling, and I”m so excited to rotate my wardrobe to bring out those seasonal fashion favorites and of course to use my Am Ex to shop online for a few new styles & finds to complement the looks.

I like to think I’m a savvy online shopper but I’ve had a few mistakes over the years. My common sense online savvy shopping tips include these MUST DO’s.
1. Use a trusted credit card – I use American Express. If there is ever any issues, they are amazing at customer service for me.
2. Never click buy before googling for a coupon code for a discount, promotional price, or free shipping offer
3. Check the return policy. Especially if you are buying shoes or clothes from a store you are not familiar with.
4. I actually tend to make it a rule to only buy from clothing or shoe stores online where I know my sizing precisely – just so I don’t need to deal with the hassle of returns
5. If shopping at Flash Sales Sites – know that shipping sometimes takes a while. So don’t order something today that you need in 2 days. The deals are amazing, but I’ve found the shipping and service can take closer to 2 weeks instead of the normal anticipated few days when buying from Amazon or other traditional online sales sites.

OMG Colleen looking at these boots I feel like a kid again ! lol Fuzzy boots were “the boots” 25 years or so ago, every woman/girl in my family had a pair. I remember mine very well- they were extremely comfy, and super warm ( the hair was longer than the pair that you are displaying now ), but they were also very heavy ! It was quite a workout dragging them around all day. Funny how some things are the trend, then they dissappear and appear again many many years later. I bet my daughter would love a pair if I showed her the picture.
And yes I agree everybody should do their homework when it comes to shopping online- and AMEX rocks.

Great tips! I too Google for coupon codes or printable coupons before ordering online or going to any store. Most times you can find something! Also, I love those boots. I need a pair! I’m watching the deal sites
When we looked around for a card we did the same, we looked for one that would benefit us in the areas we like. I too never order anything online until I look for a coupon or a code to apply. I must admit more often that not I am able to save at least $5 that way. If nothing else I get free shipping.
