I've been a fan of this fellow Philadelphia author ever since first reading her book Good In Bed years ago. Best Friends Forever will not disappoint and as usual this busy Mom and closet bookworm managed to finish it within a few days. I love how Jennifer Weiner manages to write suspenseful chick lit that is at the same time both hysterical and heartbreaking. You'll be hooked after the first chapter which catches your attention fast with what looks to be a potential murder bringing two ex-best friends together after years apart. Her characters come to life with all their flaws making them so totally likeable. This tale of two best friends who could not be more different is a gripping story and a beautiful reminder of the importance of forgiveness and how we all need friends in our life. I found myself laughing out loud and tearing while reading about the enduring lifetime kinship of these two next door neighbors. Classy Mommy Approved.
