I finally got around to buying the much talked about "Pioneer Woman Cooks" cookbook last week when I saw this gorgeous much talked about hardback beauty was only $11. With one quick glance at this book I finally understood why Ree, the Pioneer Woman and beloved blogger, is pleasing everyone everywhere with her sweet charm and incredible recipes. Honestly, you all know I am the known for being an undomestic diva who often has cooking disasters galore. But, like everyone, I aspire to improve my cooking and flaws and this cookbook has inspired me. Seriously, I read it cover to cover. Each recipe is full of step by step photographs along with Ree's sweet personality. The book is sprinkled with gorgeous photos of her family, ranch, horses, her personality. I've never seen a cookbook like this in my life. Rachel Ray has nothing on Ree! Some of the recipes are a bit more complicated than I would like, but many are as easy as pie. And almost everything uses very basic household style ingredients or those that are easy to locate at any ordinary grocery store. Ree has inspired me and I'll be planning to try 1-2 of her recipes each week for the coming few months to incorporate some more meals for my starving family :) Classy Mommy Approved.
