Back to School Shopping Haul #WMTMoms

Summer’s just about over and the kids are heading back to school. We did a major back to school shopping haul at Walmart to stock up school supplies so the kids could check off all the requirements on their class supply list. We found a ton of super deals to help both the kids and me get organized to kick off the new 2015 – 2016 school year.  Beyond just everyday low prices we were able to stock up on the rollbacks on items like Crayons that we’ll need to replenish all year long. Check out our haul! Even more fun for the kids – we snuck in some cool character tee-shirts!

Back to School Shopping Haul at Walmart

You can see all the kiddos goodies and yes the HANGARS a lifesaver for me as I attempt to organize closets and purge to get us all off to that organized clean start.

How do You Get your House Organized for Back To School?

A few things I always buy and do every year to keep us organized before the school year starts:

1. Extra pencil case for the kids. They are only $0.50 on sale at Walmart so I don’t mind buying an extra. This way they can have a double of what they bring to school. We keep it at home so every day at homework time they can pull it out and have all the crayons, pencils and goodies they might need.

2. New Hangars for the closets. With new hangers I can work on hanging up more of those clothes that snuck into drawers before the year starts. I purge all the stuff that the kids outgrew so I can donate it too! The Mainstays hangers were only $1 for a big package!

3. A few extra small plastic bins. I use these for ANYTHING and everything. From keeping lunchbox snacks organized in the pantry to an extra box or two to keep toiletry items organized in our linen closets.
