Balancing Work, Family and Fun with On-Cor’s Easy Meal Options #CountOnCor #OvenTimeTips #ad

With the start of the New Year, my resolution is to FOCUS on all areas of my life. And that means not wasting time, but instead being more organized to be efficient in all that I do so I can maximize my time both in my career ventures and my family fun.

This means I’m always looking for tricks to save time which in turn gives me MORE TIME to focus on what really matters. So I’m all about convenient dinner options for our family like those from On-Cor. I love finding easy to prepare frozen entrées that I can mix and match with veggies and salads at home to cut down on my “prep” and cooking time — which in turn gives me time to FOCUS on what I care about most.

For instance, On-Cor Entrées are a fabulous way to save time. Check out these super inexpensive prices for both thevHome Style Gravy & Meatloaf Slices and Macaroni & Cheese Entrées.

Put them together and BOOM! Dinner friends! Add a veggie or fresh fruit for the kids and my work is done.

Share the Love of Baking with Your Kids

Easy dinner tricks, leaving me more time to play board games with the kids in these cold weather months — we’ve been loving Monoply and CLUE the past few weeks. And every winter, as a family, I always teach the kids new recipes as I pass on the love of baking to my children. I may not always want to be a chef, but I love preparing sweet treats and getting creative for yummy desserts!

Over the years, every December, January and February, my kids and I create fun new treats – especially gluten free desserts so Kyle with Celiac disease can also enjoy them!  A few of our favorites desserts are below:

The kids love going crazy making  – and devouring – chocolate covered snickers popcorn!

And for another sweet treat – we adore our Gluten Free Mint Chocolate Chip Brownies too!

And now Kenzie is able to bake herself, she’s moved on from Gingerbread babies to gluten free chocolate chip cookies!

Nutritional Scoop on On-Cor

We all love our fresh fruits, veggies and salads but as a busy Mom with hungry growing kiddos, I need to prepare solid hearty meals to fuel my kids energy and nutritional needs.

It’s great to know that frozen prepared meals like those from On-Cor think about the ingredients they include. For instance, we love that On-Cor entrées have no monosodium glutamate (MSG) added. Even better, many meals, like the Macaroni & Cheese entrée along with the Lasagna with Meat Sauce, use 100 percent real cheese.

When it comes to protein, several On-Cor entrées now have 20 percent more meat, including Salisbury Steak, Sliced Turkey and Char-Broiled Patties. Who else is always looking for more ways to easily incorporate protein into their children’s and their own diets? The Penne Pasta & Meatballs with Tomato Sauce entrée now has 25 percent more meat too!

For your next family meal, head to the freezer aisle of  your local ACME or check out  where to buy

  1. My favorite are the barbecued pork riblets, which I use to make homemade McRib sandwiches. I would use the extra time to knock some chores off the “honey-do” list.

  2. Our Fav is Lasagna and my resolution is to spend more time with my son. I am a single mother and saving money and time is at the top of the list.

  3. My favorite has to be the Barbecue Sauce & 6 Boneless Rib-Shaped Patties and I would spend the time watching cartoons with my little one while its cooking!
