Kenya held a presidential election in late December. Suspicions of rigging the vote have snowballed into violence, a standstill of the economy, and tens of thousands displaced, hungry, and hopeless. Although Reach the Children is typically dedicated to building self-reliance in communities, sometimes circumstances require drastic adaptation. They have decided to set up an emergency fund for Kenya relief: 1106-K2 Kenya Emergency Food Fund. This will not be a self-sustainable fund, but we feel it is needed at this time to help our Kenyan sisters and brothers.
Purchase a Spunky Sprout baby tee and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Reach The Children and sent to Kenya to feed orphans and families who ordinarily do all they can to work and provide for themselves, but for this disaster have been unable to do so.
