Curious George Birthday Cake & Cupcakes

Want some Curious George Birthday Party ideas?

You can easily replicate these ideas for a Curious George themed birthday party to create both a Curious George birthday cake or Monkey-like Curious George Cupcakes.

My best friend Allison made these adorable George cupcakes and  “yellow” hat cake for her 2 year old daughter’s birthday this month. You can make the yellow hat cake by cooking your cake mix in a glass pyrex bowl. Then to make the rim of the hat, use a round cake pan. Then, place the cake you baked in your Pyrex bowl on top of a cake made in a round cake pan and voila – you have your Hat cake!

My girlfriend also ordered lots of adorable Curious George paper plates, napkins, and favors and decor from Birthday in a Box .

She also decorated the downstairs and tables where food was served by sprinkling their collection of Curious George books here, there, and everywhere. The Curious George paperbacks, hardbacks, and board books looked charming plus it was fun to recollect reading each book over the years as we bumped into the varied Curious George titles throughout the party.
