Disney for Preschoolers

Beyond the Attractions: A Guide to Walt Disney World with Preschoolers by Lisa Battista is an excellent resource for any family preparing to take young children to Walt Disney World. It’s especially good if you haven’t been to Disney in years and are taking your children for the first time, but seasoned visitors will still take away a ton of fantastic tips and tricks. I especially love how she covers her opinions (pros & cons) on all the different resorts. We’ve been to Disney 2 times already with preschool aged kids, and are going back again this year with kids aged 3 & 5 yrs old. Reading her book helped me decide to book the Beach Club Resort over the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Both sound excellent but reading her explanations helped me decide what would be best for my family based on the activities we plan to participate in. I can’t rave enough about this book – from reviewing resorts, to rides to the fun little "no wait in line" attractions like the mini parks within Magic Kingdom, this book is an invaluable resource for young families planning a trip to Disney.
