Disney Living Challenge: Fun at Family Meals

Wow! The Disney Living Healthy Challenges are wrapping up with Week 12’s challenge to remember to have FUN at Family Meals. I think we usually have fun but the hard part is always getting the kids to eat healthy and devour those veggies……. but I think we’ve been making strides and our “veggie” pasta version of Mac n Cheese is a big relief for this Mom! And of course, keeping little boys sitting still is a challenge – but if we can engage them beyond the food and with the right conversation it is always a win. Talking about our days and really asking kids questions that require something BEYOND a yes/no answer does indeed help us get silly and pull out info about the day of a 3 year old or 6 year old!

Did you know Disney is also giving away a trip to a family of 4 to Walt Disney World? Enter here on the Disney Living Facebook page for a chance to win. Enter here!

  1. We make a game out of eating. If you try it dad will try it ect. Very picky eaters so it is hard to get them to try new foods.

  2. My kids love everything Disney so this soap is great…they actually want to wash their hands now which makes my life so much easier!

  3. We try to have the same foods for everyone, not special foods for kids. That seems to give them the idea that they don’t have to follow the same rules of healthy eating that adults do.

  4. I would love to win this! we keep it like you at the dinner table we ask how was their day, what did they learn and if we need to fix anything going on we talk it out or we plan for what adventure we will do, that keeps them excited to eat, chat with each other, go sleep and have tomorrow come lol. I try to keep it fresh and design their plates with the food I cook, with these Disney meals that would take alot of my work off me and more spending time with our 3 kids or cleaning after them lol….And they will for sure wash their hands with that cute sanitizer. Thanks you for the chance. 🙂
