Easy Dinner Ideas with On-Cor For Those Busy School Nights with Sports Practice! #CountOnCor #OvenTimeTips #ad

Who else struggles to find convenient dinners during the after school sports and homework rush? It’s a battle of logistics, cooking, carpooling, and everyone eating dinner sometimes at a different time! For this Mama Chef, I love convenience and finding an easy way to cook and prepare something hearty while also having the time to help my kiddos with the homework and drive back and forth to the YMCA multiple times a night for various kiddos swim practices! This Fall we’re enjoying On-Cor’s meal solutions. This week we ate both the 6 Breaded Chicken Parmagiana Patties with Tomato Sauce entrée and Gravy & Sliced White Meat Turkey that I picked these up at my local ACME – they were even such an incredible value at 2 for $6 !!!!

Keeping busy while Dinner Cooks

Being able to get everything I need done around the house – or even outside the house if I run a quick carpool to the local YMCA while my meal cooks in the oven is a giant lifesaver. Like seriously, we are a CRAZY crew from 3 pm until 8:30 pm nightly with school work and swim practice at various times for each kid! I love being able to take advantage of that time when my meal is prepping itself and cooking in the oven! Hooray!  From getting extra time to do a some working out at home in the winter – like doing a few set of dumbbells or hopping on the treadmill is fantastic! And I have time to sit at the kitchen island while dinner cooks and preps while helping out the kids with Math Homework.

Some of Our Favorite On-Cor solutions

Kenzie and I paired On-Cor’s 6 Breaded Chicken Parmagiana Patties with Tomato Sauce with some Caeser Salad and bread – so simple and delish! Portions sizes are large too so these entrées are big enough to easily feed the family for 2 nights depending on your family size and appetites!

Later in the week we ate the Gravy & Sliced White Meat Turkey and paired it with baked potatoes, cranberry sauce and some frozen veggies for a early “Thanksgiving” style meal. Nice!

Important Nutritional Info about On-Cor

I love that On-Cor entrées have no monosodium glutamate (MSG) added. Yay! Even better, many meals, like the Macaroni & Cheese entrée along with the Lasagna with Meat Sauce, use 100 percent real cheese.

Several On-Cor entrées now have 20 percent more meat, including Salisbury Steak, Sliced Turkey and Char-Broiled Patties. I’m always look to find ways to give my kids more protein! The Penne Pasta & Meatballs with Tomato Sauce entrée now has 25 percent more meat too!

For your next family meal, head to the freezer aisle of  your local ACME or check out  where to buy

  1. I have fond memories of my mom making us Breaded Chicken Parmagiana Patties with Tomato Sauce! I would love to have this in the oven while I am helping the kids with their homework!

  2. My favorite are the barbecued pork riblets, which we use to make our own McRib sandwiches!! I would use the extra time to take care of some fall lawn clean-up.

  3. I sure could have used an On-Cor meal tonight after my morning at work extended into the afternoon without any notice! The lasagna would have been a great hit!

  4. Personally I love the chicken parm, but hubby loves the boneless ribs. I usually snuggle on the couch and watch Disney movies with the kids until it’s done <3
