Here’s the scoop on how to make an Easy DIY Minion Christmas Ornament we created to celebrate our love of the Minions and excitement that the Despicable Me 3 Special Edition is now available on Blu-ray & DVD in stores as of December 5th. We absolutely LOVED Despicable Me 3 and it’s the perfect movie to watch over and over again! It’s such a fabulous FAMILY movie since it’s appealing to all ages. Our family loved the action, hilarious antics, and music in Despicable Me 3. Plus, it felt like we were reuniting with old friends with the chance to see Gru, his wife Lucy, their three adorable daughters—Margo, Edith and Agnes—and the Minions on the big screen again in a brand new adventure.

Easy DIY Minion Christmas Ornament Instructions
Honestly, this craft is super simple. It’s so easy, with a little help from Parents or an older sibling, our DIY Minion Christmas ornament is appropriate for kids 3+.
Supplies:
You can buy everything at your local craft store.
- Clear plastic Holiday balls
- Googly eyes
- Black pipe cleaners
- Colored Pom-Poms for a Santa Hat
- Duck Tape or Glitter if you want to create suspenders or other flair for your Minion
- Despicable Me 3 Movie Trailer
- Yellow Tissue Paper
- Glue
Instructions:
Shred some yellow tissue paper and stuff into your clear ornament. Then wrap with black pipe cleaner or duck tape and glue on your googly eyes. Top off with a Santa Hat or red scarf for the festive holiday spirit! A fun activity for a family movie night during the holiday season!
