As a former breastfeeding Mom, I can attest to the fact that registering for and buying a breast pump really is a necessity if you plan to breastfeed. Somehow I thought I wouldn’t need a pump and ended up needing to rent one for almost 3 months after I having a€€ baby born pre-term. I finally broke down and bought my own pump when I had to go on a course of antibiotics that you inconveniently could not breast feed with – but there was no other option medically for me.
I’ve never tested this Evenflo pump personally as the breast pump I bought myself in 2006 was a Medela, but it sounds excellent for occasional use pumping (ie a date night, afternoon out without the baby, etc.) The features on this pump that I loved on my Medela pump include having the ability to use on the go with batteries or at home with a plug in adapter. Also this Comfort Select has an auto-cycling vacuum that mimics the baby’s suckling to produce more milk faster and the price point is far more affordable than many other brand names on the market.
