Ever After High Dolls Highlight the Children of Favorite Fairy Tale Characters

Have you heard of the Ever After High dolls? I totally approve of this new line of dolls, toys, books, and web episodes as the girls of Ever After High are actually the sons and daughters of the most famous characters from Fairy Tales. I love the concept as I find it adds an entire layer of mythology to the characters and toys and enables young girls to draw parallels and spot differences between these characters and those classics everyone knows so well from their favorite tales.

I think Ever After High is perfect for older little girls. Kenzie, age 8, is currently OBSESSING over the series. She’s been eying the dolls at the store and has inquired about the book before.  Last week, we were sent a doll to review and Kenzie loved learning the story of her doll and watching a webisode.

Great news for Ever After High fans : You can watch Ever After High episodes for free online or for free with your Netflix subscription.

This week I bought her the novel, and she will not put the book down. She is waking up at 615 AM to read it before going to school. Super cute.

Cerise Hood, the daughter of Red Riding Hood, is the doll we were sent to review and we adore her.

Note: Thanks to Mattel for sending us this Cerise Hood doll to facilitate our feature. As always, all thoughts and opinions are our own.
