Just in time for Halloween, Frankenstein: A Monstrous Parody by Rick Walton and Nathan Hale is fabulous. The kids will get a great laugh out of it and the parents will appreciate all the jokes and spooky halloween illustrations. The book is literally rhyme for rhyme like Madeline but all about Frankenstein who has sadly lost his head.
My 6 year old thought this book was a riot and couldn’t get over how similar it was to Madeline yet all about Frankenstein. A new classic to add to our seasonal Halloween book collection.
