Halloween Costume Cuteness: My Captain America and Brave Merida

Honestly, I can not stand this cuteness. We were sent Halloween costumes from Walmart for the kids to sample and everyone had a ball today dressing up and getting totally into character. Everyone was all smiles for this photo shoot and for hours after – something about getting in costume just lifts spirits and turned our house into a party atmosphere full of non stop laughing and fun.

Here’s a few of my favorite photos….

Kyle sported two looks – both a Fireman and Captain America costume, while Kenzie was styling in a Brave Merida Princess costume complete with wig and Brave toy archery set.

All these costumes are from Walmart and are very reasonable priced. Walmart truly makes it affordable for Parents to purchase licensed character costumes from Disney and the Avengers for under $30. This Avenger’s Captain America costume is $19.97 which includes the mask and Kenzie’s Brave Princess Merida costume is only $16.97. The wig is an additional accessory as is the Archery set which costs just over $6.

Check out Kenzie rocking this serious wig full of TONS of curly red hair. The wig is substantial and truly a great costume wig. It makes the outfit complete and literally transformed Kenzie into Merida.

I love this photo of Kenzie barefoot as Merida and the puffy chest on the Captain America costume totally helped my skinny little 4 year old bulk up like a super hero. He loved it and we all loved the look of him as a tiny little hulk of a man!

Here’s Kyle as Captain America flexing his muscles outside with his sister and fooling around inside at the kitchen counter.

Kyle as a Fire Chief styling in his Fireman costume priced at $16.

You can see the low Walmart prices – fantastic for Halloween costumes especially for these in style and on trend for 2012 characters like Captain America from the hit movie, The Avengers, and Princess Merida from Disney’s hit movie, Brave.

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post from Walmart. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
