Win it! To celebrate the release of “I Don’t Know How She Does It” on DVD this week, Jan 3rd, 2012 from Anchor Bay Entertainment on we’re giving away a sweet “Mom on the Go” prize bundle with lots of goodies and a copy of the movie on DVD.
The movie is based on the book, “I Don’t Know How She Does It” by Allison Pearson which is literally one of my most favorite “mom” books on the market and I credit it for shaping my life & career today. I read this book when I was pregnant with Kenzie and it literally just spoke to me – cautioning me to carefully think about how I would someday juggle work/life balance. I swear this book somehow was like a vision for me – encouraging me that I could choose the life, career, and type of balance I wanted with my family.
I don’t want to spoil the movie for those that haven’t seen it or for those that haven’t read the book or seen the movie. So just enjoy the trailer and I promise any Mom – especially those that try to juggle any type of career – part time, full time or even just a few random hours here or there will relate!

Wow being a new mom… well it is a balancing act as well as a life altering change. Off for a year on maternity and three months left till I go back to work has left me feeling a bit overwhelmed and worried to leave my precious baby that I have grown to adjust my life around 24/7. I would love to win this package. I think this would be my first gift to self since having Ella as now I spend every dime on her. Babies are the beautiful and bring so much happiness to parents… Ahhhh.

FOR ME, IT WAS MUCH HARDER TO BE A STAY AT HOME MOM THAN IT WAS WORKING. I STAYED HOME FULL TIME AFTER OUR THIRD CHILD WAS BORN AND IT TOOK ABOUT A YEAR BEFORE I TRUELY GOT THE HANG OF IT BECAUSE IT IS DIFFICULT; YET, IT WAS THE BEST JOB THAT I EVER HAD. IT WAS A TRADE OFF BUT IT WAS WORTH IT BECUASE EVENTHOUGH MY KIDS ARE ALL ADULTS NOW, WE STILL ADORE EACH OTHER.
This movie looks like a fun comment on all we women do everyday. And somehow, we DO “do it”! Thanks again!
