Inspired Hostess Giving: Mainstays Gift Baskets for Bed Bath and Home

Need a hostess gift? Looking to mix things up this season with a fresh idea on gift giving? This year I’m obsessed with the idea of giving friends and family items they need to freshen up their homes in cool storage baskets or containers.

Pack Gifts in Storage Baskets

I dread gift wrapping and I’m honestly kind of sick of the “gift bag” tradition too. Instead, bundling goodies for the bath and home in a functional storage container packed with some tissue paper is ultra useful. Who doesn’t need fresh towels, another new throw blanket, or more goodies for the bathroom like lotions, soaps or air fresheners?

While we were in Arkansas at Walmart’s Holiday meeting, their home department shared these gift basket hostess gift ideas with us.

Take a peek at our photos below for some inspiration on items you can put in a hostess gift basket that were shared with us from Walmart using their MAINSTAYS line of products. MAINSTAYS offers all kinds of stylish bath towels, photo frames, kitchen gadgets, blankets and more! Everyone needs a refresh to their home for these essential items so it makes a very thoughtful gift.

If you don’t like the idea of popping bath items into your gift basket, then create a basket with photo frames or even kitchen goodies. Trust me, everyone needs a new spatula!

Even for the kids, you can buy a simple Mainstays Storage container and pop in $1 fleece Mainstays blankets if you want the gift to gear towards the children too! Normally, these were priced at $2.88 but were on sale for $1 when I recently shopped at Walmart. I grabbed a camo for boys and this cute zebra one for the girls. Super cute!
