We are truly living in the future. Our iPad 3G tablet arrived on Friday April 30th, and it is incredible. It did not disappoint in the least and is just a grand version of our little iPhones or iPod Touch. Think huge screen with very impressive clarity, total usability with scrolling using your fingers, and a far bigger keyboard then you’ll get on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Mike bought the iPad for personal use for $666 in the 3G version and he is signed up for the unlimited plan for $30 per month access fee. So far we’ve been sticking to free apps for Mom & Dad and the kiddos as we’ve only had it for about 5 days. I’m most impressed with the clarity of the picture on screen when watching movies or TV on the ABC player or Netflix. I also love that the iPad can double as a digital photo frame – load your favorite pics and then they will cascade in a very cool photo show if you leave your iPad sitting on your desk at work or set it up for display in the home.
