Skin cancer is real and it is serious. And preventative skin checks are something people often forget to schedule. My girlfriend was just diagnosed with Melanoma this past winter – which was thankfully discovered on her routine skin check appointment. My Dad has also had lots of squamous skin cancer removed – which can lead to Melanoma – so I am trying to be more vigilant about getting my skin checked. I’ve actually got an appointment later this week.
When was your last skin check? Do you wear sunscreen daily ?
I’m very excited to see my fave celebrity mom Jennifer Garner, working to promote wearing sunscreen daily. And sharing how people can get a free skin cancer check too!
As part of this year’s Neutrogena Choose Skin Health Campaign in partnership with the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) , Neutrogena® Brand Ambassadors Jennifer Garner, Miranda Cosgrove and Gabrielle Union have united to help fight the skin cancer epidemic in a compelling new PSA video, that urges Americans to take skin health seriously and sign up for a free skin cancer screening with a local dermatologist at www.chooseskinhealth.com.
In the video, the three actresses warn about the dangers of sun exposure and urge everyone to practice safe sun habits.
