Here’s the scoop on KRE-O:
Yes indeed – something new has come to the construction toy market – with these building blocks from Hasbro called, KRE-O. These transformer KRE-O collections are fabulous fun for kids 6-12. We received the mini Optimus Prime to sample and build- he can be a truck or a robot Transformer. Even better is the fact that KRE-O sets are totally compatibility with most other building blocks so they can get mixed in the bin with your Lego’s or other construction toys and everything works together.
Age Info: Note the age for KRE-O is 6+ as there are many small pieces plus it can be tough to perfectly build follow instructions to create the Transformer and/or Truck so help from a parent makes a big difference. However, my kids simply just adore using their own imaginations when building with KRE-O or any of their other construction toys like Legos.
The compatibility with Legos is a huge plus in our household too as my kids are constantly building and mixing so it’s great that these can just work with Legos and of course also just get dumped in our big bin of building toys when we are cleaning up.
