Kyle’s 1st Day of Preschool

Big day for the little guy. Luckily, going to camp at Preschool this summer made this primarily a seamless transition for my funny, sweet, and sensitive boy.

Yet, Kyle still cried hysterically and clung to my legs with a vice grip on the final departure, but as soon as I’m out of sight, he’s perfectly fine.

Honestly, I don’t mind the crying since it stops instantly. I know other Moms are heartbroken over crying kids at preschool drop off. Yes, I cringe and wish he didn’t cry, but I know he loves his day and I’m certain he’ll adjust to drop off in a few weeks.

Until then, I know his vice grip and tears are a ridiculous and wonderful way for him to show Mommy that he’d rather I stay with him.  And honestly, I can selfishly say it feels good to be loved by my baby.
