It’s the final rush to Christmas! If you are absolutely FRANTIC like me these last few days, you are desperate to make one-stop shopping trips where you can buy last minute gifts, stocking stuffers and even party essentials. I scored big at Walmart the other day buying candy canes for a party I’m throwing, paper cups, Holiday shaped Coke for my husband to leave him under the tree, and even gifts for my 8 year daughter. Most impressive, I did all this in 20 minutes!
Prices are super low but the best part about my trip to Walmart was that everything I needed was also in stock. Let me tell you, traditional Peppermint Candy Canes 5 days before Christmas are nearly impossible to find!
I loved that my candy canes were also only $0.98 and the wooden ornaments I bought for the children to decorate as a craft activity for the cousins on Christmas Day were also under $1. Nice!
Look at the hot toys I bought for 8 year old Kenzie. I was impressed that I was able to find a Password Journal and my 6 year old son Kyle picked out the HOT new Nerf Rebelle goodies as his gift for her. Yes, I’m sure he’ll love battling it out Nerf style with her!
Check out some of my in store photos below to see the awesome pricing at Walmart. I especially love how easy it is QUICKLY shop at Walmart for all of these goodies thanks to all of the Point of Purchase and End Aisle Displays showcasing everything you need – like Candy Canes, Paper Cups, Holiday Party supplies, Wrapping Paper and even unique stocking stuffer ideas.
The toys are AWESOME and it’s so great to be able to buy the party essentials while also purchase toy finds for my kids. If your children are like mine, they are inspired with gift ideas days before Christmas so it always means running out to the store again.
Super fun stocking stuffers or items to leave unwrapped under the tree like these gum ball machines, PeZ dispensers or Glow Sticks are always favorites in my family.
