Loving Fall Sports!

Like millions of families across America, our Saturday mornings are now officially all about FALL sports. We’ve got Field Hockey for Kenzie and Soccer for my kindergartner Kyle every single Saturday morning until mid-November. We are loving it as spectators and the kids are loving it as players – and as spectators for each other. We pretty much are gone every Saturday from 8:30-1:00. It isn’t that big of a commitment and it is totally worth it.

Look at these smiles!

I remember when the kids were little thinking this would be crazy doing sports every Saturday, but now it is just totally part of our routine and so much fun! It’s fantastic to be outdoors and the kids look forward to their Saturday games so much.

I love how they each get to play and then also cheer each other on. Little Kyle cheers on Kenzie in our family sports chair early on the morning since she plays first every Saturday. We are so lucky their games are not at the same time! This means we also get to make the entire morning a family affair.

And after Kyle cheers hard, it’s time for him to suit up at noon for Soccer. And since the weather warms by noon, he gets to strip down and wear shorts!

Kenzie and I then play the role of cheerleader in our coveted family sports chair!

Seriously, can’t imagine sports without one of these chairs. They are so easy to carry too as they wrap up in a bag and you can carry them over your shoulder.

Genius!

You can pick up one of these chairs at Walmart for only $8.97. Awesome! Best buy ever and I promise you will love these chairs if you don’t already own one for your sporting events.

We love buying all kinds of our family sports goodies at Walmart. Inexpensive pricing and they have all the essentials.

From soccer balls to practice with to water bottles to mouth guards for field hockey.

With mouth guards at only $0.97 , I buy double so I can keep a back up in the car in case we ever forget it – as the girls are NOT allowed to play without a mouthguard. So back up mouth guards are seriously required in our book!

What essentials do you use for your fall sports routine?

And if you haven’t joined the Saturday Sports routine, definitely think about it. It’s most less stressful and a lot more fun than I ever thought it would be!
