The Lundby brand originates in Sweden and has been making contemporary miniature furniture and dollhouses since 1945. Lundby dollhouses and furniture are now available for sale in the US.
We are so excited to have been selected to review this modern dollhouse, the Lundby Smaland dollhouse, and we can’t wait to continue to add on furniture and someday maybe even a garden to our set up. Kenzie loves it but I admit that dollhouses are fabulous for Moms too as I love decorating them as I find collecting miniatures to be a total hobby, so I think this collection is fun for all ages.
Here’s a photo of our brand new home. We’ve furnished 1 room and have 2 electric lights already plugged in. Set up was a total breeze as the house is pre-wired so you literally can plug and play. Equally impressive, each room in our home is already designed with it’s own unique decor- wallpaper, flooring, and even a carpet in the bedroom. I think it’s really important to note that we did not “decorate” any of the walls or floors in the rooms – they literally were already complete, making it super convenient for us to instantly have a finished product and gorgeous contemporary dollhouse.
The only thing we had to do was assemble the dollhouse from the box – think connecting the walls together. My husband put it together for us quickly and then Kenzie and I were ready to play!
