Melissa & Doug’s toys are a refreshing breath of "wood" in a sea of bulky plastic & electronic kiddie toys. I’ve been an impressed fan of all Melissa & Doug’s wooden play food and puzzles since Mackenzie was a baby and I first encountered this genius brand with wooden creative toys. We recently received a favorite "play food" product from Melissa & Doug in the mail to review. This slice and back cookie set is so much fun and at $20 the value can not be beat. Coincidentally, I’ve actually been giving this particular set as a 1st birthday gift this past year. This set includes an oven mit, canister for the cookies, wooden pan, knife, spatula and 12 cookies with little velcro toppings. My kids love it and are continually fighting over the cookies and bakeware. As you can see from our video review above, Kenzie & Kyle love it but Kenzie gets a bit possessed over the missing knife about 45 seconds into the clip!
