New Beauty Products: Gel Manicures at home Thanks to Sally Hansen

Video and photos of these fabulous new products from Sally Hansen that will let you do a Gel Manicure at home! The price point is excellent and truly it is so easy to do a gel manicure. Available at Walmart.

I’m especially excited about the $13.97 Sally Hansen Insta Gel: Gel Manicure in a Strip Kit shown below with photos and my video demo.

More quick tips on doing a Insta Gel Manicure in a Strip at home include the following:

1. Remember to STRETCH the strip as you apply it so you can really curve and wrap it around the end of your nail for a more secure fit and to then enable you to easily tear away and then file down the excess strip.

2. Wipe down the nail at the end with their cleansing strip so you remove any excess “sticky” material.

Again, this is what the $13 kit includes.

A multitude of colors are available, but my sample to test out was this lighter color typical of a french style manicure – shell pink. It looks great but for those who want bold colors – silvers, reds, etc, they are also available.

I’m in love with this kit and my new gel manicure. My nails look great, it was easy, and they dried super quickly. Classy Mommy Approved!

The more elaborate kit is for a traditional gel manicure (using nail polish vs. strips like I used above). Priced at $27.99, this kit includes an LED light as well – but is a bigger LED light so you’d dry and cure all your nails on hand at once.
