Win a $500 gift card to Walmart! I’m thrilled to share this incredibly generous prize with a Classy Mommy reader. With the economy putting many of us in a financial crunch this holiday season, Nickolodeon has teamed up with Walmart’s 11 Moms to offer a Holiday Money Saving Tips Contest. And Classy Mommy is a huge Nick Jr. fan too as I totally approve of several of their TV shows, toys, and books for my tykes. I just bought The Wonder Pets Save the Reindeer dvd for to prep for the holiday season and last year Kenzie obsessed over the Backyardigans Cave Party dvd.
The idea behind this contest is to motivate us all to share our best tips and tricks to save money during the holidays. The best tips will even be pulled to the Walmart.com website!

I’m a bit of a holiday junkie when it comes to decorating and celebrating. From October – December I know my monthly incidental expenditures nearly quadruple as I’ve got birthdays for both my children, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas to sustain in the festive style I’ve grown to adore. Yikes!
So how can you win the $500 Walmart Gift card? Easy. Here’s the details:
1. Just leave a comment below with your favorite holiday money saving tip or trick. I’d love advice on decorating, baking, and gift giving on a budget.
2. You can enter up to 5 holiday money saving tip comments per person. Please include your email address if it is not visible on your profile so we can contact you if you win.
3. Contest expires December 13th, 2008 at 11:59 pm. Judges will pick our favorite 10 tips and then choose a random winner from the list.
4. The winner will be contacted and must respond immediately with their information as we need to ship the gift cards by Dec 17th.

Thank you for the great financial blog article. It has given me a lot to think about. I will have to bookmark this page to return again. Thanks once again!
The first show I noticed iPad being used was Rizzoli & Isles on TNT a few months ago. One of the lead detectives was using it.
Fascinating blog post. I know I’m a little late in posting my comment but the article was to the point and just the information I was looking for. I can’t say that I agree with all you mentioned but it was unquestionably engrossing! It’s amazing how America just keeps getting better and better in spite of our current difficulties. I am a US manufacturer of political gifts and strive to serve the same patriots as you do with your blog. BTW…I found your site through a AOL search. I’m a returning visitor to your blog and will return again soon. Thanks again for a great piece!
