Nokia Booklet 3G

Nokia now has a booklet style computer available for sale with 3G service. Netbooks and small computers are seriously a way of life in our household. We move netbooks easily from room to room with the kids. I generally keep it in the kitchen -it is a great way for me to just quickly check email at lunch or when we run into the house after being outside playing on the swings. Nokia lended me a computer to use for a few weeks and then return after I tested it out. With a 2 yr old and 4 yr old I’m obviously pretty hesitant to use any electronic item I need to return, but it was lightweight and comparable to the Dell & Acer netbooks we already own. The one major advantage was it certainly had a bigger keyboard so that would be nice for when I really want to "work" on my netbook and do some serious typing vs. just surfing the internet. From a cost perspective, I think the Nokia Booklet is expensive at $599 unless you are going with a 2 year service contract with AT&T. If you go with the 3G contract, you’ll only pay $299 for your booklet and then $60 per month. So that option would be great for someone who traveled all the time and needed to be online while on the train, at the airport, or at a hotel. Here’s a video peek: For more information, click here. Price: $300
