Nurses Appreciation Week: Local Give Back Thanks to @Pampers #ThankYouNurses #PampersPartner

Note: This post is sponsored by Pampers. As always, all thoughts and opinions are our own.

Remember that special nurse that impacted you and your newborn? It’s Nurses Appreciation Week and this is the perfect time to recognize those special people and their critical and caring roles.

Pampers received over 3000 nominations for their second annual Pampers Swaddlers Thank You Nurses Awards to honor Labor & Delivery nurses, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurses and Postpartum nurses around the country. I love that Pampers is recognizing all the love nurses give our precious new babies with this great program. How great that Pampers encourages all of us to remember the value and importance of those sweet nurses who help us deliver and care for our newborns. It’s such a whirlwind time when you have a new baby, that you just often go through the motions. So I’m excited that Pampers is empowering me to give back to the nurses at the hospital where both Kenzie and Kyle were born!!!!

 Nurses Appreciation Week

Kenzie baby hospital

Since we just returned from our crazy week of travel, I’m planning to bring the kids with me so I can involve them in my Give Back project. Pampers gave us $500 so we can shower some love on our local nurses at the maternity ward where my kids were born. The kids and I are going to bring Gift cards, flowers, and plants to the Maternity floor for the nurses. I can’t wait!!! The kids will love it too as they love driving by the hospital and us saying  that’s where you were born… so they will get a real kick out of actually going inside the hospital for our give back and seeing where it all began!!!!
