Obsessing over Christmas Velvet Art from #KlutzBooks

My kids are literally already counting down the days until Christmas so the arrival of this surprise package from Klutz Books was met with joyous glee and non stop crafting & coloring for the past 24 hours.

Both Kenzie and Kyle tackled the Christmas Velvet Art activities – making gift cards, ornaments, and some art they’ve requested we frame for holiday decor this season. 20121110-204621.jpg

Very cute an the kids have been occupying their spare minutes for the past 24 hours with markers and coloring as they get into t he holiday spirit.

Ornaments the kids created – instructions are just to add your favorite piece of ribbon and pop it through the handy hole already on the ornament to hang them on your tree.

Kenzie made this holiday card for her Nana and Poppy – she glued it on construction paper and wrote them a note. Love it!

4 year old Kyle’s efforts. So proud of how he is learning to color in the lines – he worked SO hard on this.

Klutz Books also has other holiday titles like Christmas Window art and Angel Ornament making kits. I’m sure my kids would have a field day with these too so I’m thinking that perhaps our Elf on the Shelf Charlie might be surprising the kids with those come the day after Thanksgiving with his arrival.

Disclosure: I’m a Klutz Books Ambassador for this holiday season. Samples were sent to facilitate these reviews and as always, all thoughts and opinions are our own.
