It’s the truth. My family is obsessing over Wendy’s super fresh summer salads after my invitation to attend Wendy’s Summer Salad Celebration to taste test their new varieties and learn about their fresh ingredients earlier this week. I left the event so surprised and thrilled to discover this convenient way to keep my family eating fabulous and healthy salads that I thought they would love. Think Strawberry Mango or Fresh Mozzarella Chicken Salad – YUM! And each salad is made fresh daily in every individual Wendy’s restaurant too! I had an absolute blast learning how Wendy’s makes their salads so fresh and sampling all the new flavors.
Obsessing over Wendy’s Super Fresh Summer Salads
After bringing home an extra sample from the event for my husband & kids to enjoy, he caught the Wendy’s Salad bug too. Now, we both can’t rave enough about these delicious flavors and just how fresh everything tastes! Mike actually requested I buy Wendy’s salads for the entire family for dinner the very next night!!!
The kids loved everything too! Kyle is partial to the Taco Salad and Kenzie is all over the Strawberry Mango Chicken Salad. I have a feeling that our post swim team lunches this summer are going to be full of requests to bop over to the Wendy’s that just 5 minutes from the pool for lunch. An easy healthy win for Mom!
And as far as price goes, Wendy’s lets you order a half size salad too. Love this options for customers. It reduces the price to the $4 range and makes the portion size just right for me and my family.
Delicious and Interesting Salad Flavors
Check out the fun flavors in this ultra delicious salad collection. Every salad appealed to my taste buds. I especially love the various Marzetti dressings you can add along with toppings like honey roasted sunflower seeds. Double yum!

Strawberry Mango Salad
A gorgeous Wendy’s lettuce base of classic spring mix and chopped iceburg topped with strawberries, mangos, and feta cheese! Then, grilled chicken breast bits of course for your protein. To finish it off — you’ll can add my absolute favorites – the honey roasted sunflower seeds and this citrus vinaigrette. SOOOOOO GOOD!
Power Mediterranean Salad
I found this flavor to be really interesting as your chopped lettuce is topped with quinoa, chick peas, white beans, fire roasted veggies and sundried tomatoes. Then they add your chopped grilled chicken along with hummus!!!! So good!
Fresh Mozzarella Salad
This is another delicious treat! Topped with freshly grilled chicken breast, fresh mozzerella cheese (that comes from Wisconsin!) juicy grape tomatoes and a fun drizzle of basil pesto sauce too!
Taco Salad
I know this Taco Salad is a classic but definitely worth sharing as it is still SO good and a really fun option since you get to top it with Wendy’s Chili, tortilla chips and salsa if you desire a bit more of a kick.
What Makes Wendy’s Salads So Fresh?
Each head of lettuce is literally hand chopped FRESH daily in the store. Ingredients are sourced to be in season and fresh like the Strawberry Mango Chicken Salad for summer too. Did you know that Mangos are the most consumed fruit in the world ??? They are so tasty and I love that Wendy’s is adding this into a summer salad this year.

Wendys has really terrific salads. I like how they arent ‘skimpy’ with their toppings either. The salads are loaded and I can oftentimes have a leftover for later!
