How much fun is buying new shoes for back to school? How I remember those days when I was a kid. We went last night to our local Olly shoe store in Paoli to get the kids new kicks for back to school. My husband couldn’t believe how helpful the staff was at providing such incredible customer service. He asked if that was the norm and I told him yes it is – which is why Moms find shopping at Olly so exceptional.
We had a stellar expereince and walked away with 3 pairs of shoes. My poor kids were both wearing shoes 2 sizes too small……albeit they were Crocs but still we were in desperate need of upgrading their treads! It was somewhat embarrassing too see just how small their shoes were for their feet! Kenzie now wears an 11 and Kyle wears a 9 – I can’t believe how fast my cuties are growing.
Kenzie has been pining for Lelli Kelly’s since she could babble. We finally broke down and got a pair thanks to the great coupon code and gift card Olly had shared with us. Kenzie is obsessed with this new “bronze” toned Lelli Kelly’s she spotted in the Olly catalog a few weeks ago. They cost a pretty penny at $69. Luckily I had a 20% off coupon too but we told Kenzie she better wear them constantly this Fall as they were a fortune! Aren’t they adorable? She loves the razzledazzle and is thrilled about finally owning sparkling shoes.
And Kyle is literally IN LOVE with these new Nike sneakers. We had to pry them off his feet when it was time to go into bed last night – he even insisted on wearing them in his PJ’s while brushing his teeth and getting a bedtime story. He slept with them next to his toddler bed last night so he could “look at them” any time he woke up. And he was quick to put them on again this morning at 5:59 AM!
