Time flies! Both my husband and I have been continuing to use the Palm Pre Plus on Verizon now for 4 weeks. And lucky me, they just released a new software version. Normally that’s nothing to write home about but in this case it is – it’s a big deal. I now have video recording on my Palm Pre cell phone. It can’t compare to my Flip HD , but it is great for capturing those impromptu moments that the little ones are always delivering.Equally exciting, the upgrade supposedly has the capability to run Flash (think all sorts of game and videos on the Web) that should be enabled in the near future.
After using is is for a few extra weeks, I must say that these 5 features really made both my husband and I like it – besides the sneaky mirror of course!
- The Palm Pre Plus size is perfectly “pocket-able” – smaller than my iPhone, seriously the size of my blush & compact.
- Having multiple apps run concurrently.My pooled messages – voice-mail, texts, and emails – all pushed to me even when the phone is locked. It’s weird, but they feel like they’re almost hand delivered.
- Video Capability.
- Flash on the camera (both my husband and I found ourselves taking tons of pictures with it – remember that awesome Disney Fireworks photo?)
- Slide Out Keyboard – makes the phone smaller overall which is a bonus
It’s definitely earned its way into my crazy life – and hopefully it will continue to make all that multi-tasking a little easier!

Being able to e-mail on a phone would be awesome! Our current phone is very basic.
As odd as this might sound, I like the small size the best. I find the iPhone a little bulky with it’s case (and I’m too paranoid to throw it in my purse without the case). I would love something with a smaller size.
I have not owned any type of very useful cell phone. Mine includes only the bare necessities (of life)!
From reading your review, I would have to say that my favorite feature to use having many applications that
run concurrently would be great!

This seems like a great phone! I am truly a dinosaur with my old phone that has no features at all! I think the slide out keyboard is a great feature and the video capability makes this phone a step out of the Jurassic period

My favorite thing about it-It does not look anything like my 5 year old dinosaur phone! My current phone does not even have a camera on it. lol! I would love that feature the most, with 4 kids there is always a cute moment to capture.

Looks like an AWESOME phone!! I would have to say the Video Capability would be my favorite and make my life easier. Being busy with two boys makes it hard sometimes to get out the video camera so having it on my phone for easy access!!
The multi-tasking apps! I can do stuff on my phone while I am talking on my bluetooth! Also, the video capabilities in the newest software update are awesome!

I love my Palm Pre Plus. Switched over from the iPhone that I was in a love-hate relationship with. Stayed with the Pre for multitasking. WebOS is so much more polished and user friendy than the iPhone. The iPhone could do lots of cool things but I feel like the Pre does just what I want it to do. Love it! Great blogging!

I like that you can use the navigator while talking or texting. We just became Verizon users a couple of weeks ago. We were using the navigator on the phone and got a phone call. Needless to say, we ended up lost. lol Thank you!
I love that this phone is small, and discreet. It doesn’t scream “Look at me I’m a cellphone!” which makes it ideal for using for work and in every day life. I also like the size of the display. I like the fact that the keyboard slides out and that it offers a high quality camera and can film video. It’s like a “go-to” cellphone, something for everyone!

The Palm Pre Plus is on the top of my birthday list. I just found out I’m good to upgrade and so want this phone. I love the idea that the camera has a flash because mine does not right now and I hate it. I take a lot of pictures and it is frustrating when I can’t capture the moment due to low light. I like the idea of integrating all the calendars because you know how busy we moms are. I have enjoyed reading everybody’s review and I think it definitely firmed up my decision that this is my next phone.
Flash on the camera! I am always taking pictures of the kids with my cell phone because I always have it with me unlike my digital camera. That would be AWESOME!
I think it is cool that is it a HotSpot, can be a wifi for up to 5 devices! My cell phone definitely doesn’t have that!

It would make my life easier since being a mom blessed with arthritis, most phones is painful especially ones with difficult interfaces. I like the easy keyboard. the first thing that is good about your phone is that it is small, handy, and useful. though it’s size is not as big as other phones it can run several applications concurrently.

To me, the small size is the best feature. After carrying around a diaper bag for years, it’s SOOOOO nice to be able to carry around things JUST for me. So I always have a very small purse, and it would be great to have essentials be small, too!
