Race Through New York with Jimmy Fallon Review

Jimmy Fallon’s Race Through New York is a fun and entertaining ride. And you don’t have to be familiar with NYC or Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight show to enjoy it. My kids, aged 9 and 11 thought the ride was FABULOUS! They were raving about it and I loved it too. I admit I loved this far more than I thought as I would too! I was very impressed with the actual 3D motion simulator technology while on the ride that made me feel like I really was right there with Jimmy Fallon racing through the streets and skyline of the Big Apple as opposed to just sitting in a giant theater!

Before you go into the theater for your big ride, you’ll enjoy the intervactive queue that lets you look at NYC Tonight show memorabilia and even listen to the ragtime band sing their silly tunes! The lobby literally looks like a replica of 30 Rock. Cool!

Virtual Lines

Let’s give a big applause to the latest theme park rides incorporation virtual lines as this means every park guests can have more fun! Less time in line and more time enjoying other attractions or even taking a break to grab a drink, ice cream or run to the bathroom, is a big win for everyone! I think these virutal lines are truly the future of theme park rides! With today’s technology, I think we’ll be seeing more and more of this type of thing.

To take advantage of the virtual line, before you visit, download the official Universal Orlando app so you can use that to get in the virtual queue for Race ThroughNew York Starring Jimmy Fallon. Another option, is if you have the Express Pass, they will take that at the door when you walk up to the ride. Nice! Once you enter, you’ll then get a colored ticket that directs you on when to move onto the next part of the queue.

Interactive Queue Mean More Fun for Everyone

When you  move upstairs in the queue you can relax in chairs, recharge your phone in outlets, and also listen to the live performance from the Ragtime Gals barbershop quartet onstage. They sing a variety of little tunes – my kids thought they were really fun!
