Scott Wolf and wife Kelly work with Malaria No More

Scott Wolf (Party of Five and V) and his wife Kelley (The Real World New Orleans) went to Senegal with the non-profit organization Malaria No More to learn more about the disease and how they could help to end Malaria deaths in Africa.

As a mother to a young son, Kelley was surprised and upset to learn that every 45 seconds; a child dies from Malaria in Africa. The disease is both treatable and preventable and Kelley hopes to be able to give mothers in Africa the support that they need to keep their children safe and alive.

“As a mom, it’s heartbreaking to think that mothers in Africa live in fear of something as small as a mosquito bite. Malaria is a nightly threat, but by tucking their kids under a mosquito net as they tuck them in at night, moms can make sure the whole family sleeps peacefully.”

“Families in Africa struggle against Malaria every day—but the world is making remarkable progress. In the past year alone, Malaria deaths have been reduced by more than 10%. We need to keep the focus on Malaria until no man, woman or child is dying from this preventable and treatable disease.”
