After great debate, we took the plunge for swim team photos for 6 year old Kenzie. Somehow I wasn’t going to do the individual photo figuring it would be something we could just “skip.” Luckily friends convinced me otherwise.
I don’t know what I was thinking -other then it was a combination of exhaustion from the past week of driving to and from swim practice daily along with a zillion other activities plus traveling for work – and this seemed like something maybe we could just skip. (And I admit I also was feeling cheap and this was one more expenditure it seemed I perhaps didn’t need to make!)
Thank goodness some good friends reminded me that these pictures usually turn out SUPER CUTE and are so fun to look at year after year as the kids get older. And my best friend from childhood reminded me of my own photos as a child on the swim team….. and that didn’t I just love looking at them way back then as a kid – and even now when pulling out the old memory book.
With that she had me sold!
I’m so glad we did the swim photo for Kenzie and I can’t wait to see how they turn out.
