On stands now! Love this pic of Tori and her family. So very very old Hollywood.

Take a peek at the snippets from the interview below and the actual cover shot too too. My fave quote from Tori, ” I screw up as a mommy every single day.” This celebrity Mom is hands on and real – or at least that is how I always imagine her to be and her interviews and quotes show her as being vulnerable like the rest of mere mortals when it comes to motherhood.
The pregnant actress, author, reality star and mom joins husband Dean McDermott and their two adorable children Liam, 4 and Stella, 3 in an old Hollywood-inspired Halloween costume feature for Parenting’s October issue, on stands today.
Tori opens up to Parenting about how motherhood has made her more confident, how it’s helped heal her troubled relationship with mom Candy, and the one thing she hopes her children don’t inherit from her. Interview highlights include:
- · “I wasn’t truly comfortable with myself until I was about 30.” I feel like I missed out on some really great opportunities in my 20s because I didn’t feel good about myself. I spent so much time and energy wondering if I wasn’t worthy, and trying to find people to validate me, instead of validating myself. When I think of what my greatest wish for my kids is, it’s for them to know who they are, and be proud and confident, before 30.
- · “I have a whole new appreciation for my own mom these days.” …my mom is a really great grandmother—she’s super present in the kids’ lives. [Parenthood] bonds you on a whole different level.
- · “There’s something I did when I was young that I hope my kids won’t do.” I held everything in emotionally. I was scared to cry, or if people asked me what was wrong, I’d say “nothing.”
