Who else is a bookworm? If you love a thrilling page turner, take a peek at my 9 best thriller books and page turners from 2018. These reads are all very suspenseful and every one of these titles unexpected twists. Some of them have a handful of twists! These books truly are my curated faves from what I read last year and what I’d classify as part of the “Thriller” category of the Gone Girl or Girl on a Train style.
I think all of these books would be fun and interesting for Book Club too. I think choosing a thriller for a Book Club read is a great idea since usually EVERYONE will actually read the book because they can’t put it down AND, if it’s a great thriller, there will be LOTS to talk about. With my below thriller list, I’d say that the characters were faced with some pretty impossible choices not to mention all of these titles have very surprising twists so that leaves all kinds of opportunities for interesting conversation and discussion at Book Club!

These books listed are in no particular order as I loved them all! That being said, if I had to pick only 2 of the fastest easiest reads that would be great to take on a plane or read at the beach, I’d pick Something in the Water and Need to Know!
And as I said above, all of these reads on my list would be fabulous for Book Club discussion!
Something in the Water by Catherine Steadman
A honeymoon gone wrong turns into a major psychological thriller that you won’t be able to put down. The individual decisions this couple make after finding “something in the water” change everything!
Need to Know by Karen Cleveland
You’ll heart will be racing over and over again in this fast paced easy read of a Russian spy thriller! High powered CIA analyst Vivian thinks her life is almost perfect & she’s happily married ….and only needs to deal with her super stressful job & work life balance, until she finds out her husband might not be who she thinks he is……….

The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn
This book will leave you GUESSING page after page. Excellent writing and a great suspenseful “who done it” type of read!
This book is a Sci-Fi thriller so a bit different than the other books on the list. It’s a total page turner and the actual REAL science and military history included in the book is fascinating; not to mention the Sci-Fi aspect of the story seems totally realistic which made Reset a 2018 favorite for me!

Note: I probably read close to 100 books per year, mostly fiction that’s a mix of quality reads like best sellers, popular thrillers, and historical fiction combined with all kinds of more junky & random reads that I absolutely adore, but wouldn’t recommend to anyone else unless they have similar interests in me and dig the same genres – think historical or medieval romances or other fun science fiction finds that I get for free from my Kindle Unlimited membership.
