Do you love new workout clothes? Whether I love them or not, I ALWAYS need to refresh my workout wear annually as these are the items I wear the most and wash the most ! I love comfy and affordable workout tops that can even double as regular clothes with jeans or yoga pants when need be — which is often the case – since I’m usually going from workout out to other appointments, the grocery store or to pick up the kids someplace. Walmart challenged me to see what I active wear and fitness clothing I could find in store that worked for me. I think their AVIA and Danskin line provide some great items to give you an Inexpensive Active Wear Wardrobe Refresh!

Here’s what I picked out – my favorite is this long sleeve performance top from Danskin. It is sooo comfy! And it works well as a base layer for outdoor winter running under fleeces and a workout jacket. Indoors it works great as a lightweight long sleeve when I run on the indoor track at our local YMCA.
This top is only $9 right now at Walmart. It’s also available in a range of colors. My faves are this pink and a blue that they sell. I’m wearing a size XS which is noted as a “2”. Walmart sizing tends to always run very large so if you order online keep that in mind.
Here’s me wearing the Danskin top at home. See it even works and almost looks like a regular top that isn’t for working out. Nice – as us busy Mamas need that!
Avia Active Performance Short Sleeve V-Neck Tees for only $5
This short sleeve Performance Tee from AVIA is now on sale for only $5 at Walmart. It’s a bit big and loose on me as I only could find a size small (4-6) but it works and I love the bright color. The fabric is super breathable too which is great for hot running on my treadmill in our basement in the winter!
