Fashion File: Back to School Style From Day to Night #WMTMoms

When the kids hit the classroom, I find I’m casual all day long as I work from home. So I love comfy functional clothes that I can easily transition into flexible outfits in a snap when I need to meet a friend for lunch or sneak in a special date night, or opt to look trendy for a casual evening function whether it be a swim team party for the kids or a special event at their school in the evening.

Back to School Style From Day to Night

Walmart challenged me to share some realistic ideas for how Moms can easily transition from day to night come Back to School season. Here’s what I did…..

I picked up this simple Faded Glory cotton striped tee for on sale for only $6 – regularly $7.98 and paired it with my FAVE jeans and heels. This tee is super duper comfy to wear with a favorite pair of jeans or leggings. Then when evening comes, I ditch my sneaks or flip flops for a pair of heels and pop on a favorite statement necklace like the one I’m wearing here that I bought last year at Walmart for only $10. It’s a classic piece that looks great with a strapless dress if you need to go formal or it can easily dress up your ordinary “DAY CLOTHES”.

Below I’m wearing my tops totally casual with my fave pair of jeans. It’s so easy to leave on my jeans and just swap out my $11 new Avia Fitness longsleeve for a more stylish shirt or just wear a stylish casual long sleeve on all day and add that statement jewelry. If I won’t have time to change at all – adding those $10 statement necklaces is a total cinch as I can keep it in my purse and keep the heels in my car so I’m ready for evening.
