Tanger Outlets Shopping Spree Galore!

Check out our shopping haul video from the Tanger Outlets. We scored some MAJOR fashion finds at fantastic savings too when we hit Amish country in Lancaster County last week for a major shopping spree. The kids and even Nana accompanied me on this adventure.

She was eyeing the Coach purses just like her Mama! Here’s a few of Kenzie’s and my favorites! Don’t you love the new spring styles at Coach?

I feel totally set for spring with a few new hot seasonal picks as you’ll see in my video. My favorite is the brand new Coach Purse – in a styling white which is a perfect accessory for my Spring& Summer fashions. We also snatched up new spring fashions at major bargains at Banana Republic, Gap, and Izod. I’m set with short white shorts from Banana Republic, bright orange tops from the Gap and my Mom will be golfing in style in her new Izod golf skirt!

Here we are at Gap snatching up their $14.99 Cardigans – a special for the day – every color cardigan was only $14.99. It seemed the biggest ways to save were finding the “specials” and if possible combining them with a Tanger Outlet coupon for 20% off which we were able to do at Gap, Banana Republic, and Izod. Woohoo!

Lilly Pulitzer Animal Crackers

Here’s one styling Animal Cracker box! This one is for all you Lilly Fans. For the 3rd year in a row, Lilly Pulitzer has teamed up with Nabisco’s Barnum’s Animals to benefit Operation Smile. What a fabulous charity to support and creating specialty Lilly Pulitzer designed Animal Cracker boxes is such a fun idea and genius way to engage Lilly fans as they seek to find where these special Animal cracker boxes are sold.

Kenzie, Kyle and I stumbled upon them at our local Giant grocery store in Malvern, PA last week and I immediately snatched up a handful. The kids also fell in love with the very Lilly inspired Animal cracker box too! They are begging me to let them each get their own box in their Easter basket tomorrow morning. Yes, I will certainly deliver on that request- especially since it’s for a great cause.

Gap Is Back

The past few seasons Gap had fallen off my fashion radar I didn’t even bother to stop in and look anymore. It saddened me because they were my go to for my basics. Well, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this dress –  the Pintucked Print Shirt Dress-  in the window last week. I just had to have it! Isn’t it gorgeous?

I think their spring/summer line is very much on point. I purchased this dress below and I love anything that resembles a Pucci print!

This dress can be worn with a wedge or sandals. Even put a belt with it. Or go completely casual and throw it over your bathing suit. Very light and airy. Happy to say Gap is back on my radar, I mean who doesn’t love a comeback?!

H & M Spring Kids Collection Fashion Haul & $250 Gift Card Giveaway

Fashion Friday: 3 Fabulous Summer Finds at J.Crew

For the past two  seasons J.Crew has become my go to for my seasonal basics, tee’s, tanks, etc. The quality of their clothing is great at a price point I don’t cringe at. Now I’m pretty much going there for everything. Lately I find myself wanting the whole collection the day the catalog arrives. Within in the past three weeks I’ve purchased these 3 items that I think are great for going out day or night and looking put together.

Recent  Hot Buys from J. Crew for Spring & Summer:

1. Sailor Shorts

I went out of my comfort zone and ordered the green pair. I love them! They also come in black and I am now definitely purchasing those next. Cotton with just the right amount of stretch makes them fabulous and comfy. Perfect to pair with a tee and flip flops for day or pair with a wedge for an evening look with a fancier top.

2. Rope Neck Tunic Tee

Slight dip in the front. Pair with the green sailor shorts for an adorable evening look or wide linen pants. This top will take you from casual to an evening out. Very comfortable and flattering.

3. Raindrop Lace Top in neon azalea

This is a staple piece for your summer look. This top goes with anything from a white jean to a pair of shorts. Gorgeous lace overlay at a price that won’t make you cringe. At $110.00 it’s the perfect mix of elegance and comfort.

Summer Must Have, Kate Spade Lindsay Biscuit Wedge

I’m in love…..My Kate Spade Lindsay Biscuit Patent Wedge arrived yesterday and they are gorgeous. Kate Spade is definitely back on  my fashion radar.

The Kate Spade Lindsay wedge is one of my summer must haves. These fabulous shoes pretty much go with anything, the rainbow wedge is to die for.  I’ve been dreaming of these shoes since they made their debut.Get them while they’re hot because I have a feeling these babies will be hard to find soon.

Sizing Tips for Kate Spade Shoes:

Make sure you try your true size on and a half a size up. I ordered them in my true size and they were a little small. I went on a hunt to find them and found that the half size bigger  makes all the difference.

I paid $275.00 for these shoes, but I think they are worth every penny because the possibilities are endless. These are a great investment to your spring & summer wardrobe. Enjoy!

Fashion Friday: Team Sparkle Running Skirts

Styling, sparkling, and super lightweight. If you want to look glam and like a princess for a road race or run, then Team Sparkle is the answer. Here’s Kenzie and I crossing the line from our 5K race at Disney- we both wore skirts and mine was from Team Sparkle.

(Kenzie is wearing a skirt that she regularly wears to school – bought at Target from their Hello Kitty collection – not intended for running but it was frilly so fit the bill for Disney!)

I never thought I’d run a race in a skirt. Now, I don’t know that I’ll ever go back after trying out the highly recommended and ultimately amazing Team Sparkle running skirt. I actually ran in my pink skirt 2x over the Run Disney weekend as I wore it for the Disney Royal Family 5K with Kenzie and then again for my Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon the next day.

Almost everyone dresses up for the Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon in some sort of costume or frilly accessory. I wanted to run kind of fast and comfortably survive the race – so a full out costume was of no interest for 13.1 miles!  It was super surprising but I ran far faster than I intended too – I credit this skirt as it kept things all about the fun which I adored. As a former “competitive runner” it is awesome to just run for the spirit of running with zero pressure on time.

Team Sparkle is the perfect answer for me and a zillion of those running all the Run Disney events.

Honestly this skirt is comfy and super fast – it will not impact your time at all. I even 1: 47.44 in mine! 

And there is no “rubbing” or “chaffing” like you’d get if you opted for a true Tutu type skirt. Plus, the price is right at only $25. Awesome!

What size to order from Team Sparkle?

These run very true to size but the waist band is super stretchy so you can make a range of sizes work for you. If you are deciding between sizes your height might make the difference -if you want the skirt longer or shorter. For instance, I wasn’t sure if I should wear a size Extra-Small or Small. When I needed a skirt for Disney, Kelly, the owner of the company, brought me both sizes to try on so I could pick the best fit. I ended up going with the XS since I’m only 5’2″ and the shorter XS worked better for me since it was shorter, but both “fit” comfortably and would have worked.

Fashion Friday: Run Disney Princess Style

Next week I’ll be gearing up to run the Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon on Sunday the 26th and my entire family is going to run the Royal Family 5K. I hear that everyone literally gets all dressed up like Princess to run this race – from skirts to tiaras to full fledged Disney princess costumes.

Here’s some ideas with Disney’s official 2012 Princess Half Marathon merchandise along with some “tutu” skirt options too.

Lots of the larger sizes in little girl stuff is sold out now on Disney.com, so I may actually be wearing a sparkly skirt of Kenzie’s that fits. Kenzie helped me find a skirt of hers to wear- thank god for elastic waists so I can get it over my hips! – along with a cute Tinkerbell ponytail holder.

I can hardly wait for the magic of running a race full of Disney entertainment and now my 6 year old is SUPER EXCITED to run her very own 5K with me the day before and earn her own glorious finisher medal.

Time for Disney Magic and turning my running self into a “Princess runner!”
