10 Family Must Dos at Camelback Resort (when Not Skiing) #MyCamelback #VisitPA

Check out our 10 Family Must Dos at Camelback Resort — when you’re not skiing the slopes — as there is SO much more to do here than just ski! Last week, I took my family on a surprise, last-minute adventure to Camelback Resort, and WOW…what a memorable trip! Since my family aren’t the most experienced skiers, I was super excited to split time on the slopes while also having a ton of other awesome activities to choose from without ever leaving the resort. It was an incredible 24 hours that everyone can’t stop talking about. If you’re looking for an adventure-packed trip that’s convenient and fun, look no further than the Poconos. Can’t wait to go back for their summer activities!

1. Aquatopia
Camelback has USA’s #1 best indoor waterpark where it feels like summer even when it’s freezing outside. This 125,000 square foot experience is filled with slides that will drop you, spin you, and shoot you…out of a Venus fly trap. There’s a ride for everyone, and if you need a break, relax along the lazy river or watch tv at the swim-up poolside bar.

2. Donut Decorating
For just $3 every morning from 9-10, start your day decorating your dream donut with the help of some of the friendly staff. Your family will leave happy. full, and ready to start a fun day!

3. Flowrider lessons
One of the most popular attractions at Aquatopia is the Flowrider. If you want to avoid the line and ride like a pro, sign up for lessons for just $40. We sadly ran out of time for a lesson, but it’s on our list for next time!

4. Bowling alley
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that Camelback had their very own bowling alley. Despite only having a few lanes, there was no wait while we were there, and with a full arcade nearby, it made for a pretty cool afternoon break from the snow.

5. Climbing wall, bumper cars, laser tag, and virtual reality
One of my family’s favorite hang out spots at Camelback included a climbing wall, bumper cars, laser tag, and an immersive virtual reality experience. By this time in the day, I enjoyed some chill time on the couches nearby overlooking the water park.

6. Paint your own pottery
There was a new surprise around every corner at Camelback, and the pottery place was definitely one of them. It was tucked beside the arcade games, and I was so bummed that we never had a chance to paint anything. Adding it to my summer to-do list!

7. T-shirt and pillowcase coloring
If pottery isn’t enough for your creative kids, stop by the lobby for some painting fun for just $10.

8. Scavenger hunt
Who can turn down a scavenger hunt in a ginormous resort? Every night between 7 -10, you can download the Goose Chase app on your phone, make a team name, and enjoy Camelback’s custom scavenger hunt. The best news? This game is free and is a perfect post-dinner activity that everyone will enjoy.

9. Movie night
If your family is looking for a chill evening, find a comfy spot on the couches and enjoy a free movie night on the big screen between 7-8:30.

10. Reptile show
If you’re lucky enough to be around on Saturday evenings from 7-8, stop by the lobby for a reptile show. Animal lovers won’t want to miss out.

Have you been to Camelback? Is there anything you would add to this list?! There’s so much to do, and I’d love to hear more ideas that your family enjoyed!

Camelback Resort paid for my expenses on my trip. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
