Remember crimping your hair in the 1990’s? Well it’s back again and on trend for 2015. For 2015, runway looks are showcasing scattered mini crimps throughout the hair or a sleek ponytail that has scattered crimps. Love the look as it’s really interesting and different. I like how they mix both flat iron sleek look with this scattered crimp pattern too.
I think this is a really fun hair trend as you can’t go WRONG with your crimps since the idea is to just scatter them and put in a few random crimps within the overall sleek hair look.
How to Crimp Your Hair with a Crimping Iron
You can use any brand of crimping iron or flat iron to style your hair. In this video, I’m using a Bed Head 1 inch crimping iron which sells for $29 at Walmart.com.
You can buy a Bed Head MINI CRIMPER for only $15.47 from Walmart.com too, so this an easy and inexpensive way to test out a new beauty trend for 2014.
I think this is a really fun hair trend as you can’t go WRONG with your crimps since the idea is to just scatter them and put in a few random crimps within the overall sleek hair look. If you don’t have a crimper – you could always pop in a few mini braids, sleep in them and then you’ll get some scattered twisty patterns that will look cute in a ponytail or give your sleeker hair some scattered volume.
To firm up your looks and make it last, I used Suave Professionals hairspray in this video which are also on sale at Walmart. I’ve been enjoying their new infusion Luxe Style line I was sent to review from Suave a few weeks ago as it holds my hair nicely and doesn’t leave any lasting residue, it just seems to really maintain the volume if I’m wanting curls or maintain the straight sleek look when I’m wanting to prevent frizz outs.
