5 Must Do Experiences in Paris You Won’t Want to Miss #parisjetaime @US_FranceFR #VisitFrance

Planning a trip to Paris?  Check out our 5 Must Do Experiences in Paris you won’t want to miss! Planning a trip to Paris can be exciting, but with the sheer amount of things to see and do in the city, it can be hard to narrow down your itinerary.

A trip to the City of Light can be exciting, but with the sheer number of things to see and do, it can seem impossible to narrow down your itinerary and make a plan for your stay. Fortunately, after consulting a few locals – and tourists – and reflecting on my own experience in the city, I’ve identified a few things that no trip to Paris would be complete without the following must do moments!

Snap a photo in front of the Eiffel Tower. A trip to Paris isn’t complete without a trip to the Eiffel Tower! However, there’s no need to climb to the top – after all, you can appreciate the tower’s beauty much better from the lawn below. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a nearby park and take a few photos of this photogenic landmark.

Take the elevator to the top of Tour Montparnasse. Don’t waste your time or money climbing to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Instead, head across town to the Tour Montparnasse, a skyscraper that offers incredible views of the city from its observation deck. Pay a small fee to take the elevator to the very top and admire the Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur and other Parisian landmarks from one of the highest vantage points in the city.

Eat a crepe. Crepes are a street food staple in Paris, and for good reason – the French seem to have mastered these delicious delights. Whether you’re in the mood for a sweet banana and Nutella crepe or you’d prefer a savory, oftentimes cheesy version of this handheld treat, it’s hard to limit yourself to just one!

Get lost in the Louvre. Paris is known for its many museums, but none are quite as popular as the Louvre. This massive repository of paintings, sculptures and other artwork is one of the most well-curated collections in the world. Since you can’t possibly hope to experience all of the exhibits in one visit, make sure you prioritize the pieces you’d really like to see and save the others for a different visit.

Admire Luxembourg Gardens. These sprawling, perfectly-manicured gardens offer a green oasis from the hustle and bustle of Paris. Pack a bottle of wine and a picnic lunch and spend an hour or two soaking it all in. While the gardens are worth a visit any time of year, they’re particularly beautiful in the late spring and summer when the park is bursting with flowers and packed with tourists and locals alike.

Regardless of how your Parisian itinerary shapes up, you won’t want to miss these memorable must-do’s in Paris. Leave a comment and let me know what attractions and activities you don’t want to miss!
