A Taste of Hollywood

Live from Hollywood! Thrilled to be on the west coast for a quick 24 hr trip to cover the Teen Choice Awards swag suite for TJ Maxx to benefit Save the Children.

Here’s a quick video tour of my first impressions of Los Angeles as Audrey and I left the airport together in the limo. Lots of traffic. Lots of Palm Trees. Lots of Mountains. And lots of Oil Drills. Who knew?

Audrey and I played tourist tonight for a few hours as our hotel was literally on Hollywood Boulevard. The Hotel Roosevelt was very old school Hollywood and right across the street from the Kodak Theater area.

A movie premiere for the Expendables was going on and crowds of fans were everywhere. It reminded us both of NYC but warm and with palm trees.

Very cool. And the stars from that Hollywood Walk of Fame are everywhere. Think a seemingly never ending street of stars.

We grabbed dinner at a the Hollywood Hard Rock Cafe. Seriously the best Quesadillas we’ve ever had full of mango and amazing guacamole. Delicious. We might go back again tonight before our flight leaves they were so good.

Then, we took pictures of the Hollywood sign from the vista in the Mall behind the Kodak Theater. Gorgeous!
