Everything from bedtime, teeth, homework, convenient snacks, skincare, and even how to coordinate healthy meals during the chaos of after school sports. For parents with teens or kids starting to develop acne, this is the perfect time of year to get your kids into the habit of a solid skincare routine and the application of some simple over the counter acne treatments. Enter the AcneFree Clear Skin Treatments. Check out our Acne Free Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo Video Review for a demonstration on how to use this new system we recently tested out.

Acne Free Clear Skin Treatments

Walmart sells a huge range of products from Acne Free. We were given the Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo to sample and review, but as a Mom with a younger daughter entering 3rd grade, I’m really interested to try the Acne Free wipes they sell, as I think this might be the simplest way to introduce a younger tween into a skincare routine to start nipping those early breakouts in the bud! I plan to buy these for Kenzie as I think it is the perfect solution for a 3rd grader!

Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo Video Review

The Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo sells for $19.97 at Walmart and literally comes complete with EVERYTHING you need including batteries to get your 2 speed facial brush powered up. The kit also includes a large jar of your micro-benzoyl peroxide to fight and eliminate acne causing bacteria.

I personally think all you really need is the cleansing solution to wash your face and try to battle the acne bacteria. As an adult, I’m not facing the breakouts I did as a teenager, so it’s difficult to determine how well the solution and brush work for me.

Personally, I think the extra step with the brush could be a bit of a gimmick – as I think you just need the cleansing solution. However, I think for a teenager this “gimmick” might compel them to clean their face more regularly! And that’s what we need as parents to help our kids put their best face forward and get into a healthy skincare routine!

This is what the kit looks like when it arrives in the box. It’s great that it comes complete with batteries too!

Here’s my video demonstration of the brush in action:

The cleanser will last a while as you only use a “mini” less than a dime sized amount for each face washing given benzol peroxide is pretty potent. Some people can be very sensitive to it as well so depending on your skin type you may only want to use this a few times a week instead of 2x daily. That’s the pattern that works best for me!

Utilizing the brush is actually only even recommended 2-3 x per week maximum as it really is a DEEP clean. I needed to use the lower speed as I’m sensitive to the higher speeds and the Benzoyl Peroxide really tends to dry out my skin……. However, remember as you want to get rid of acne you do want to dry out your skin so I think that’s why people really do respond to this type of treatment.

This brush will really help you get the treatment deep into your pores and hopefully battle your acne.

  1. I blog often and I truly appreciate your content.
Your article has really peaked my interest. I will take a note of your blog and keep checking for new details about once per
week. I subscribed to your RSS feed as well.

  2. I do agree with all the ideas you have presented in your post.
They are very convincing and can definitely work. Nonetheless,
the posts are very short for starters. May you please extend them a bit from subsequent time?
    Thanks for the post.

  3. If not treated early on, this problem could
develop into cystic acne. Typically, it is a matter of toxins being built up in our system over
the years and it comes out of our pores, causing the acne.
If still not convinced on how to get rid of back acne, consult a dermatologist
or a doctor who will help get rid of this problem effectively.
