OMG. What a night! Thanks to serendipity and social media connections, my girlfriends and I scored a backstage tour of Wicked at the Gershwin Theater with Constantine Rousouli – who is the understudy to Fiyero – and happens to be good friends with “The Baby Guy NYC” who hooked us up with him.
Talk about an unexpected surprise as I had ZERO idea when I bought this ticket 48 hrs ago that I’d end up getting this crazy awesome tour.
It was beyond cool. The photos don’t capture it all but we saw and touched everything – From the Witches broom to kissing Oz to drinking the green potion ( which is actually Listerine with a glow stick in it!)
And we met Glinda – in her regular clothes but still very sprinkled with fairy dust!
What a night. The show was incredible. Very green. Simply wicked!
