Hot new Barbie alert!
My kids are wild for the latest brand new Barbie movie, Barbie Princess & the Popstar. Kenzie declared it was one of the best movies ever when I let her watch it the other day. She was full of sheer delight and inspiration as she happily danced and sang along with the music during the Popstar’s concert.
Here’s our video of the latest transforming doll. These are so fun! She easily converts into either a princess gown or popstar mini skirt style dress and the dolls hair switches out with an easy twist of the crown to either Blonde/Brown or Pink/Purple depending on the doll. Sweet! Plus, she of course sings 2 tunes so your kids will totally be singing along with their doll when they with this Barbie.
If you’ve never watched the Barbie movies, I highly recommend them for little girls. My 4 year old son also loves watching the movies with his sister as they are great storylines and complete with excellent music. All the movies emphasize friendship and courage too. In this latest movie, Barbie – as Tori and her friend Kiera switch places in that the Princess becomes the Popstar and vice versa. The girls make this work with the help of a magic hairbrush and microphone.
The hair and dress were very easy for my 6 year old to figure out and Kenzie has been playing with this Barbie nonstop since I let her take it out of the package last week. And her role plays have included LOTS of singing making this a fun toy for her.
