BLT Pasta Salad Recipe: Memorial Day Must Make

Memorial day is so soon, which means the official summer kick off starts! Insert long days, warm nights, pool parties, sun kissed skin and memories of a lifetime.To get you ready for the warm summer ahead, we wanted to share the perfect quick pasta salad with a fun classic twist! BLT Pasta Salad PinPlus.. what if I told you.. you can have this done in about 20 minutes and be out the door? Even better! This BLT Pasta Salad Recipe can be made up to 8 hours before serving! Perfect for those busy days. Be  sure to add the lettuce/ greens of choice right before serving. If not, the greens become to soggy.

BLT Pasta Salad
what you need:
1 lb of bow tie pasta
1 lb cooked bacon – ( cut into small strips )
1 cup zesty Italian dressing
1/2 cup of creamy ranch dressing
1 cup sliced mini cherry tomatoes
2 cups lettuce/ greens of choice. I really like spinach, I feel like it goes better 🙂 salt + pepper to taste

directions:

bring a large pot of water to a boil, and cook pasta until aldente.
while water is boiling and pasta then goes in, heat a skillet over medium heat ( spray with oil ) and cook the bacon 2-3 minutes on EACH side. Until crispy!
Drain pasta, rinse with cold water.
Mix your cup of dressing & toss with pasta.
Then add greens, tomatoes and bacon
Salt and pepper as needed.
Serve right away or enjoy on the cooler side. IMG_4783[2]
