Last week Build-A-Bear invited us to experience our local store at the King of Prussia Mall. We had the BEST TIME! We haven’t visited to make our very own furry friend in a few years so the kids were ecstatic and this Mom & Dad were very impressed with the super customer service and attention to detail. Visiting Build-A-Bear is a total treat and experience to create wonderful memories. And now, there are even cooler features to include in the creation of your critters. Did you know you can now add both SCENT and SOUND to your creations???? So cool! Kenzie and Kyle decided to each make one of the brand new Promise Pets that just launched this spring.
The Promise Pets line from Build-A-Bear Workshop now welcomes a Calico Cat, Dachshund and Westie into its collection. Kyle made the Calico kitty and Kenzie opted for Westie the cute white puppy.

Kyle added the HONEY scent to his Calico. It smells AMAZING! Kenzie picked COTTON CANDY which also smells delicious. And 2 weeks later, the stuffed animals truly do still smell incredible. They told us the scent, called SCENTIiments, would diffuse as time went on and it’s absolutely true.

We also added sound too. Kenzie chose the Star Wars theme that plays when you hit the paw of her puppy. Kyle chose a MEOW for his Calico.
Look at the super cute little carrying sacks they gave us for our Promise Pets. Sized just right and made to fit our plush Build-A-Bear creations and easy for kids to carry.

What’s really great about Promise Pets is the complementary, downloadable mobile app (available on iTunes and Google Play) that brings the experience of pet care to life — teaching children about pet care and showing them how to become responsible pet owners through an interactive play experience.
Horses & Hearts Riding Club Collection
The other brand new popular line at Build A Bear now is the Horse & Hearts Riding Club collection. Horse lovers will absolutely ADORE this new line and the fun accessories are my favorite part – think stables and super cute riding gear. Children can choose from two popular horse breeds: a Make-Your-Own Palomino American Quarter Horse and a Make-Your-Own Bay Thoroughbred Horse.
Some of the adorable optional accessories available for purchase are a stable, a trough and food set, and a bridle and blanket set in three colors.
Horses & Hearts friends provide ample opportunity for creative play. Their special manes and tails can be styled with available accessories too – and there are even hair extensions.
